Jelly Roll Morton

I envision this music playing a part of Gastby's parties by being the upbeat song that everyone dances to.
The mood is happy/cheerful. It is that way because the beat is uptempo, the instruments play high sounds and it produces sounds that are light. Activities that go along with this music are dancing. I could also envision this song being in a Tom and Jerry cartoon.

Justin Bua

He has the emphasizing parts of the picture coming out at you. Things always seem to be towering over something else. He uses organic shapes. He depicts some African American life. Every person in the picture was doing something musical.

Sixteen Military Wives

1. The song is about ignorance in America and how we try to get into everyone else's problems.
2. The theme of this song is that there is greed, ignorance and unquestioned blind following in America. For example, if we start a war, we don't question it, we just fight.

Race for the Prize

1. The theme for this song is about a war. The scientists are determined to make a new weapon before the opposing army can defeat them. They are in a race against time so they do not die. The scientists are determined because the lives of the nation depend on them. But in the end, they fail.

Incarcerated Americans

- The only decade in which we had a decline in incarcerated Americans was 1940-1950
-There are 2 million more incarcerated Americans in 2008 than there were in 1980
-The graph takes place between 1920 and 2008
-Drugs have put the most people in federal jail in 2010
Fallacy-Drugs have always put the most people in jail
Fallacy-the number of incarcerated people will continue to rise
-the number of people in federal prison is less than those in other prisons combined

Duck and Cover

The ouvert message is to duck and cover. The couvert message is to not fear the atomic bomb, but instead be ready for it. I thought it was informative. The video was just telling you what to do if a situation occurred. It did not try to persuade and it had not propaganda.
